Thank you Charleston Weddings Magazine for the love!

It is always an honor when a large local publication wants to feature my wedding photos but I was even more excited when I realized Charleston weddings chose five of the weddings I photographed to be featured.

Pet love to me is just as real as any kind of other love so I am always smiling when a bride decides to include her "best friend" in the wedding party. It brings laughter and joy to everyone witnessing and almost always makes for a touching image.

A surprise proposal and engagement session in Hilton Head, SC

I was thrilled when Reece contacted me and told me about his idea of having me photograph and film his surprise proposal to Jessica. I had wanted to photograph such a wonderful event and hoped that someone would ask me to. I was honored of course and  impressed with his thoughtfulness when he chose one of the most romantic places I had seen. Surrounded by vegetation and the beautiful light of the sunset, Reece and Jessica got engaged! :) But enough with words...check out the video and engagement photos for yourself.

The beauty of a bride (captured in detail through your Bridal Portrait)!

I am always excited when a bride decides to have a fun day in front of the camera and hires me for a bridal portrait. Most of the times the hair and make-up artist as well as the florist will agree to do a free "test" of their services and that comes in hand perfectly for the day of the bridal portrait when everything seems to come in place for a day of being "made pretty" and "test driving" your exquisite wedding dress.
In this case we chose a historic home on East Battery: The Palmer House. The elegant interior of this very welcoming bed and breakfast were a perfect compliment to a perfect dress. The bride chose a picture from this session for her announcement as well as for a 16x20 framed print for her reception entrance.
